Using paper towels to dry face after washing?

Recommended Posts

This may seem like an odd question, but I often find myself in traveling situations where it's really inconvenient to take tons of washcloths with me (e.g. camping). I was recently in such a situation, had no washcloths, and tried using paper towels. I realized they are clean, soft, and can simply be discarded after use.

Can anyone think of a reason why using paper towels to dry ones face would be a bad idea, or am I basically a genius?

It shouldn't be a problem; though you may have to make an effort to be extra gentle b/c paper towels aren't as soft & absorbent as regular towels.

Make sure you are dabbing your face not rubbing! I do the same and feel way better about it because I know my skin isnt getting any possible bacteria from the towels.
