Hi,

What's a good substitute for milk in cereal? I'm trying to eliminate as much dairy as possible. In fact, it's only Yoghurts that I blend into smoothies that's left.

But I do eat cereal, Bran flakes with added fruit - But what can I substitute the milk for?

Thanks!

A lot of online articles say to use Almond milk. I'll have to give it a go!

Thanks :D

Cereal is all I eat that contains dairy aside the Greek fat free Yoghurts, but they're healthy at least.

Thanks for the help, looks like I'm finally there with a good diet :)

Almond milk but store bought cereal is such cheap crap man. Buy some steal cut oats and make the real deal with some fresh fruit, honey, etc. Real food.

I second the oats suggestion. Cereal could be causing your acne just as much as the milk. Oats are a much safer bet, more nutritious, and (in my opinion) taste better + leave you feeling full longer.

Also, milk replacements such as almond milk are filled with emulsifiers and stabilizers such as carrageenan and guar gum. These can cause intestinal irritation and can contribute to skin problems. I would avoid them and if need be, just drink real milk instead.
