Noticing Lots Of Negative Topics...is It Just Me?

Recommended Posts

First off sorry if this is in the wrong section , just Idk if there is even anywhere else this would fit...

I'm new here and I'm so glad found you guys , most of you are so friendly but I've notice there is some random people and some specific few that seem to always have to start a topic, which in the end becomes a battle zone where people fight...

I usually notice in the Emotional Section, I figured I might as well help others since , ya know spread the happiness, make people feel better? But whenever I go to the section I see topic titles like "We will never win this battle against acne".. Like how is this making you feel better? It just seems they are having a pity party for themselves..

So is it just me or am I taking things a bit too over dramatically, or is this just common?

Also all of you guys are handsome/ beautiful people and one day we will beat the hell out of acne ;)

yes acne does make us angry and most people have no one to talk to or vent to that really understands the pain

but I avoid the negative nasty stuff...I like to benchmark see what works and help out where I can since I've fought for so long, I'm winning and I really do believe most can, but it is very hard work, we don't get a night off to skip topicals and washing the face or a night to cheat on junk food...not me, and clear skin is a trade off I'm willing to make for the hard work

but we are all different with different triggers, so you get the arguements, I tried that and it doesn't work so you are wrong...well, not really it works for some and not for others, so let's learn and experiment and be positive...but that's just me!

I've moved this post to the emo forum :)

As in life you will find both negative and positive people on the forums (or perhaps some posts made by positive people who are just having a bad hair day). I'm a positive person and find the negative posts incredibly frustrating so I don't read them or get involved. I find that works best for me.

I have been through the negative fase as well, but I have a good reason for it. I have been tremendously bullied because of the state of my skin. People just have to learn that only complaining doesn't work. It won't solve their problems.

IMO there's nothing wrong with venting your frustrations or posting something a bit negative when your feeling down as theres lot of people on here who can help you feel a bit more positive again. I do however completely agree that there have been a select few on here lately who seem to post the same old overly negative stuff all the time, seemingly just to argue with others.

It's probably easiest to just ignore them as they seem to just want attention/an argument.
