Blending Vegetables

Hey guys,

So I recently read this thread: which talks about juicing vegetables everyday in order to maintain vitamins in the body for clearer skin.

However, what I have been doing is blending multiple vegetables every day then microwaving the contents and eating it.

What I wanted to ask was to save me blending every day could I just blend a ton of vegetables at the start of the week and store the contents in an airtight plastic box in the fridge? Would this somehow lessen the vitamin intensities?

I also heard that cooking vegetables lessens their intensity as well.

Could anyone please give me some advice?

Thanks

Some vitamins I'll be lost. I wouldn't make a weeks worth at a time.

Thanks for replying, I guess I will continue blending every day instead.

I second alternativista; Cooking reduces vitamins, as does storage. It's best to consume fresh vegetables juices immediately or very soon after preparation. I don't store my homemade juices longer than 6-8 hours.
