Hi guys when i do 2 full pumps of dans moisturizer i apply it like he says but it never soaks in like i feel like its too much seriously like when i apply it like him it just sits on top of my skin and idk if its just me or what but 2 full pumps seems like too much is it? Does anybody else have this problem? It sometimes just smears around leaving yellow residue and in different lighting you can tell theres something on it and ive never had that kind of problem until i started using dans moisturizer i didnt know 2 pumps would be so much lol does anybody get what im trying to say? When i used ceraves moisturizer i would dispense a generous amount for my entire face but with dans 2 pumps is alot i mean.. Its comes out thick heres a pic check it out! Is this the right ammount..? One pic is dans moisturizer and the other is cerave am both are 2 pumps!
I feel the same way! But I feel like Dan seriously knows what he is doing, and wouldn't recommend 2 pumps if it didn't give the skin the full amount of moisture it needs. I think it's just a lot thinner than most moisturizers because of the jojoba now.
I'm going to try applying it in smaller doses at a time until my skin fully absorbs the 2 pumps. Dan's moisturizer can't hurt! It can only hurt if you don't use enough.
I thought the same thing... I can cover my entire face completely (following the 'rub gently for 3 minutes then let the rest absorb on its own' rule) and I always have a half a pump left in my hand.
So I switched to a pump and a half. Maybe its the size of my face, or maybe its my skin... either way, you can't force two pumps if your face will only take 1.5!
on the FAQ this is what Dan suggest/advice you do
Q I have oily skin that wont absorb the full 4mL (2 pumps) of moisturizer. What do I do?
A Try applying only 2mL (1 pump) of moisturizer, wait for it to dry, and then apply another 2mL (1 pump).
Extremely oily skin may only require 2mL (1 pump) of moisturizer.
