Many people are convinced that high insulin levels can lead to acne. A new (Peer-Reviewed) Study proves that smoking marijuana can help balance your insulin. It talks mostly about how this can help diabetics but who knows it can help acne to.

It does not say how other than that is messes with your brain.

I would agree that High insulin levels increases acne. However, smoking pot indirectly increases insulin levels by giving the "munchies" to the smoker. And these junk foods that the pot smokers eat, are almost always extremely high on the glycemic chart that will ulimately spike insulin.

I have been in the industry for years. THC is the active ingredient that causes an increase in appetite. However, there's another known chemical called CBD which is non-psychoactive. Many breeders have isolated this chemical through cross breeding and if you're lucky, you can find this amazing strain, get medicated, and not get "high." It decreases the chance of the "munchies" too.

However, to recommend marijuana as an aide with diabetes it should really ought to be looked at as a dietary supplement. Raw cannabis juicing has INCREDIBLE anti-inflammatory properties and has healed things like fibromyalgia and cancer.
