Magnesium isn't a magic acne pill. That isn't why I suggested you take it.. But most people don't get enough in their diet, it's extremely important for the production of the enzymes that make your body function. And because it relaxes muscles and promotes sleep. Which brings us to why you should try it.

Greens and seeds. Except that many, paleo and leaky gut people, for example, avoid seeds.

Mega Food vitamins sells a whole food derived magnesium supplement. Not to be a broken record, but whole food derived are the only supplements i'd ever take. You can pick up a bottle online for less than $20.

whats the recommended dose to supplement with?

i read somewhere here to do 400mg of Magnesium, but pills usually come in 50 or 100mg.

so maybe that person is overdoing it.

It can be bad for you or pointless to get too much of minerals at once. In most cases, the body will only take in so mucho a time.

Also, magnesium supplements come in those lw amounts because otherwise, they'd be huge pills.

I've been consuming cacao nibs a few times a week which is a good source of magnesium. I always notice that I feel more stimulated and my muscles are relaxed when I get back to work after lunch. It's quite pleasant!

Hi,

I just responded to your message. But 400 mg is not too much. That is about the RDA for magnesium. Please don't use magnesium oil. Well, you can, but I did not notice any changes with it... Just itching and burning skin with no results.
