Recently we tried 6 more cleansers, hoping to find more foaming yet gentle liquid cleanser options for everyone. As usual, most failed miserably, but one of them came out on top: Olay Foaming Face Wash (Sensitive). It comes in a 7oz. tube and a 6.8oz. bottle with identical product inside. It lathers well--just be sure to mix in an adequate amount of water to get a good lather going--and is unscented. Unfortunately, it's not perfect because it contains sodium laureth sulfate, but it is the 11th ingredient, and overall the profile is acceptable. Plus it's affordable and widely available. I've added it to the official list of approved cleansers. Please let everyone know what you think of it on the Olay Foaming Face Wash reviews page.

The Oil of Olay line is not for acne sufferers, despite Dan's recommendations.

Highly recommend black soap versus almost any store facial cleanser with tons of chemicals that strip your skin. We liquefy the black soap into a pump bottle. One bar would last a person a whole year if used correctly for about $10 a bar.
