A few weeks ago, I started eating healthy food; this is my typical diet.
Breakfast: bowl of total rasin bran with almond milk, one apple
Lunch: brown rice and salmon, garden salad
Dinner: wheat pasta and chicken, apple for dessert
I also drink half my body weight in ounces of water every day (I weigh 160, so I drink 80 ounces of water). I gave up all dairy, greasy food, refined sugars and alcohol, and exercise 6 days/week. However my skin has broken out worse than ever, it wasn't even this bad in high school (I'm 25 and male, so it's not "that time of the month"). Is this just my skin detoxifying by getting rid of all the bad stuff in my body? If so how long will it last? I would appreciate personal experiences or the experiences of someone you know. Thanks
my recommendation (take it or leave it)
switch out the brown rice for corn
maybe for breakfast you can have a more organic cereal? there's one at walmart
really yummy! and as far as i'm concerned very beneficial..
and instead of eating pasta, have steamed vegetables (the more variety the better), they sell bags of brocolli, chopped carrots and sprouts, just steam them in a pan with a lid for a couple minutes and they melt in your mouth
other than that your diet sounds good.
if you exercise 6 days a week make sure you aren't wearing yourself out each time.. should be light not strenuous.
are you using anything on your skin topically?
