happylife 0 Share Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) Hi all,I have been having very red patches on my cheekbones. It doesn't seem like the normal flush from cold weather. Is it congested skin with lots of white and black heads? I have posted in the mild/moderate acne forum and have been told that it's mild rosacea. I really hope someone can give their opinion on my skin, on whether it's rosacea or not. Also the derm told me it's mild acne and has pescribed me duac, differin and lymecycline to treat it. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance:)Btw the lighting makes things look much better than it is in real life. NewSkin4You 0 Share Posted November 10, 2012 I've had a very similar experience but have always had more acne and mild redness. I started using a new product line and finally am rid of both.
Aballarina 21 Share Posted November 12, 2012 Looks like maybe your skins a bit irritated. What products do you use or did you start new ones recently? My advice.. If it bothers you that much make an apt with a doctor .. Because my skin looks similar to yours with the odd blemish and because of my self diagnosis etc playing around with prodcts I had dermatitis for 3 months! So take my advice don't try anything yourself just go see a specialist
