Mare 0 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Old Guy. I have to ask you...what made you decide to have a foreign man made substance injected into your face? I know you've had good results but the thought of it, makes me squirm. Your own fat or cells, that's one thing but Restalyne is not a naturally occuring substance in the human body. Please don't take that question the wrong way. I just want to understand your hypothesis on the subject.
oldguy 1 Author Share Posted October 1, 2004 Restylane is hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in human skin. Restylane is made in the lab, from culturing bacteria, but there is another brand of hyaluronic acid filler called Hyaluron. It is made from rooster combs. Sorry, but if I wanted to abuse and torture birds I would eat at KFC.
