Shadow Indentation

I hope someone can help me.

I have about 4/5 ice pick scars on my left cheek. Three of them are kind of in a line down my face about a cm apart. The top one is particularly wide and deep.

However, in really bad light (sunlight coming from behind) it creates a sort of 3cm shadow line down my face eminating from the top (and worst) pit.

Is this because the three pits are creating the shadow? Or is there some other kind of scar that I don't know about? As I say, you can only see this 3cm shadow in really bad light and not at all the rest of the time (but you can still see the 3 pits).

Thank you

There could be a rolling scar under your ice picks that is causing the shadow. If so, subcision might help. You might want to see a qualified dermatologist for his/her opinion.
