Milia caused by my dry skin.. I think??

Recommended Posts

I'm new here- I have developed some adult acne. I never had acne growing up but here I am in my 30's breaking out. Sigh.

I have milia on my chin and cheeks and sometimes they turn into pimples that get a whitehead, Why does that happen? I touch my face a lot so that could be why.

My dermatologist said that my face is really dry causing the milia to form. I use CeraVe to wash and moisturize my skin. I read that AHA can help exfoliate my skin and I'd like to try it. I can't use salicylic acid- I'm sensitive to it. Benzoyl Peroxide seems to dry it up even more.

Can anyone help? I miss my clear skin.

Thanks!
