Hi guys,

Im new here. I have had bad acne for at least 4 years, and wanted to share with you my experience with diet. I have over the last few days eliminated dairy products and sugar from my diet. I have also increased my intake of fruit and veg. Already my skin is almost clear.

I know acne is not caused by diet by it can be controlled and cured by diet. Before all of you say that it wont work for you, just try it! widen your pallet.

I've tried that. I haven't ate any crisps, chocolate, chips or any milk/dairy products for about 10 months now and it has improved my acne. I still do get some big, big spots though just not as frequently as before I started the diet thing.

Sometimes I dont even eat for like 2 or 3 days simply because I'm afraid I'm going to get some big spots if I do eat. Even if I eat just fruit and vegetables, I still get some big spots on my face and back. And when I dont eat; my acne clears up! I dont get any new spots anywhere on my body or face after not eating anything for 24 hours or more! If anything it helps speed up the healing process despite what the doctors and researchers tell you.
