Here is what my doctor has just told me to do..

Before I started the regimen a few months ago ( I've stopped and started again since then ) I was prescribed Zineryt which according to the instructions given with it should be used twice a day.

I was using this for once a day a while back for about 2 months and whilst it seemed to be working in some areas more spots seemed to be coming back than going away.

I was at my doctors yesterday and he said I should now start to use benzoyl and then zineryt on top of it twice a day !. Benzoyl drys my skin out bad enough so there is no way I'm using both of these things twice a day but if I used zineryt in the morning and left it on all day and then applied benzoyl at night do you think this might be a good idea ?.

Also , lets say my face did clear ( that would be amazing , since I've had acne not once have I ever had it under control ) should I then stop using zineryt and should the bp keep it at bay since apparently your skin can't get immune to it right ?.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

From the FAQs:

Q: Can I use the Regimen with the prescriptions I am currently taking?

A: You will need to ask your doctor this question. Some doctors do prescribe benzoyl peroxide with other acne medications, but it is important that you not experiment on your own.

From the Biggest Mistakes page:

Adding in other products or steps: It is important that you wait until you are completely clear before adding in other products or steps to the Regimen. After you are completely clear, it is safe to add in one variable at a time and see how your skin will react.

I do not know that the Zineryt is drying. It has zinc and an antibiotic. Perhaps it's drying, I don't know.

Be sure to use gentle cleanser AND a moisturizer.
