Does massaging scars really help?

Recommended Posts

ive seen this mentioned a few places. something about evenly distributing collagen growth which makes sense but im guessing this is only effective on new scars? is there a proper way to do this or do you just wash your hands and just massaging the area? should you massage with any particular topical?

I personally believe in massaging and am going to do this now for the coming 4 weeks to see if i will get some improvement.

I think it is important to massage for like an half an hour very vigorously and not massaging in circles but rather to pinch like, and you could just use olive oil or any other natural oil.

AND i also think that alot of people just want to get rid of the scars just like that, but scar revision is a lifelong thing, i mean you have to maintain your scars and not expect that a treatment will take it away. And alot of people are just plain lazy.
