How do you know when a medicine has stopped working?

Recommended Posts

This might sound like a silly question...but I have been using Benzaclin for about 4 years on my back/chest and face. When I first started using it on my face...it really dried my face up...but the past few months or so...when I put it on in the morning..my face is oily a few hours later. It never FULLY kept me clear anyway...I would still have huge painful nodules on my chin or forehead before my period..and then a few smaller pimples throughout the month. It has kept my back pretty clear...well actually...I would still break out when I used it...but the past few months, since I started using philosophy body scrub a few times a week..my back/chest have been fairly clear.

I want to try to stop using it because it has been super annoying to put on after my shower and in the morning for the past 4 years...but I'm wondering if I've already become immune to it or not. Thanks!!
