What's the best way to treat acne that are already formed, is it benzoyl peroxide or maybe corticosteroid cream is a good way to go since it fights inflammation.

The thing is, I get about 3-4 acne(papules, pustules, mild cysts) per month so I don't think it's appropriate for me to use benzoyl peroxide or any other treatment every day, I would just like to find something that helps most to heal acne that is already formed as quickly as possible.

What do you recommend: benzoyl peroxide, steroid cream rubbed only on the acne, or something else. What has helped you the most?

Thanks
