Tolerance

Recommended Posts

I've been using the BP regimen since November or October of '09. It cleared me up quite a bit in November, and I was quite happy with the results.

But now, it's January 28th, and I've broken out quite a bit. The right side of my face has been problematic for a long time, and that's what is breaking out now, despite the fact that I'm putting on BP with moisturizer 2-3 times a day.

Have I built up a tolerance? Help please. :(

BP 3 times a day may be too much...... that could be causing the problem. 2 times a day is usually the best amount of times to do the regimen.

Plus, I've also heard that breakouts within the first 3 months are usually normal.

Do you sleep on your right side? If you do, try alternating sides, change bed linens weekly and launder in HOT water. If it improves, but doesn't completely go away, try changing the pillow case every 2-3 days.

Yes the bacteria cannot develop resistance to BP, but a GMO (genetically modified organism) version of the bacteria maybe able to protect itself with a form of bio-film. If this is the case, exfoliating with salicylic acid to help break down the bacterias' protective barrier then applying the BP may work better.

Welcome to the transgenic world.
