"no wheat" = no gluten??

Recommended Posts

on vitamin labels, some say 'no wheat', but fail to mention 'no gluten'. ive seen no gluten listed on other labels, but does 'no wheat' = no gluten?? or does the absence of a no gluten label mean that there is some amount of gluten in the vitamin

If something is gluten free, then it is wheat free. But a wheat free product may still contain ingredients such as rye or barley, which contain gluten.
