Found a Cleanser that doesn't dry out my face

Recommended Posts

I have been on the hunt for a cleanser that doesn't make my face tight and dry for months now. I have used he following cleansers: Acne.org, Cetaphil, Aveeno, Biore, Clean and Clear, 4 or 5 different Clearasil's, Carley's Clean and Smooth, Proactiv, AcneFree, and Neutrogena (probably forgetting a couple also). These all work great as cleansers, but fail to live up to the "doesn't dry out your skin" part of their description.

Finally I found one that doesn't dry out my face and make it extremely tight 30 seconds after I use it, and all I had to do was get away from the acne products.

Browsing through the shaving supplies, I noticed "Nivea for Men Double Action Face Wash". After reading the label I thought what the hell, might as well try it. I'm glad I did. It finally does what the label says it does. It made my skin feel soft and smooth (at least as smooth as acne prone skin can feel) and did not cause any tightness at all. I went about 10 minutes without putting anything else on my face to verify and sure enough it never became dry. I then used my BP and AHA+.

Just thought I would throw this out there for anyone with the same problem. I narrowed my initial dry skin down to my cleanser a long time ago but have yet to find anything that didn't dry me out until now. I'm going to start looking at other Nivea products to see how they do.
