bittersweetsymphony 0 Share Posted December 3, 2009 I just find the toners with alcohol dry your skin out too much and strip it of natural oils and the alcohol-free toners (eg. Garnier Sensitive) don't help with acne. Is an icecube, after washing your face with warm water and a cleanser a good toner on the grounds that it closes your pores again after cleansing? bryan 23 Share Posted December 3, 2009 I just find the toners with alcohol dry your skin out too much and strip it of natural oils... <SIGH> If you love the look and feel of "natural oils" on your skin (FYI: the vast majority of oil on the surface of your skin is just sebum, as opposed to oils of epidermal origin), then by all means, stop washing and bathing altogether. You'll love all that "natural oil" that will accumulate after a few days! :)
ichatsalot 0 Share Posted December 5, 2009 I wouldn't use an ice cube as a toner, but the ice can be used 10-15 after sunblock (or whatever you use last) to tighten your pores a little. Kind of like a mini facial :]
