Honey Girl 0 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Hi all, could you Please all fill out a survey? Those of you dermarolling or dermastamping (please state which one you are doing) 1. How long have you been dermarolling or dermastamping?2. How much percentage-wise improvement in your acne scarring has there been, since started ?3. Are you using ONLY the dermaroller, or combing it with LED lights?4. What specific supplements are you taking to help with skin healing?5. Do you think dermarolling (from your improvements) will make you 100 percent acne scar free?Just a fun survey. Participate if you like. Just be interesting to see how many people are using this, it seems to be the best acne scar treatment around, with very low side effects. I think this is the answer for alot of acne sufferers but the survey will prove this also.
scoobie_do 2 Share Posted November 22, 2009 1. Early May 09 I did a heavy duty 1mm roll. I had to wait through the summer because of my fear of UV rays damaging my roll. Toward late summer I had to do some outside work at an extremely high altitude. Since then I've rolled early Sept and early Nov.2. I've thought a lot about percentage improvement with me. Its hard to get a percentage. So from my baseline, where I looked like "The Terminator" at the end of the movie after doing a chemical peel, to having perfect, flawless skin, I'll say I'm at 30%. Again its hard to get a true reading. I've had a lot of positive comments from friends.3. Dermarolling 1mm (once), 1.5mm (twice) ; and LED'S4. juicing organic raw vegetables twice a day; topical vitamin A (PM) daily; topical vitamin C (AM) daily; a few vitamin/mineral supplement; a little protein power.5. My skin will reach a point where I am happy with it... good texture no pot holes, I will be confident in my appearence. I don't think necessarily I'm looking for "perfection", ie a person with flawless skin. I think I can hit the 90% improvement mark and be happy.

Which particular vitamin C cream are you using? is ther any particular reason you have only dermarolled 3 times in 6 months? Either one of you, scoobie or sign dermastamping? I've been using 302's "lightning drop" (vitamin C) and also their "a boost". I didn't want to roll in the summer because of doing outside work up in the mountains (very high altitude). Was afraid of damaging collegan forming with UV rays would turn it into scars. But who knows????????? I'll probably take time off during the summer when rolling just because of UV exposure. Probably being overcautious, I never liked the feel of sunscreen. I'm still considering dermastamping. Adella said on another post, which I agree, there's more room for error with a numbed face. Seems like the stamp would alleviate that problem. Just set it on target and punch. Seems like there's been a few reports of damaged skin rolling (bent needles, too much pressure). The advantage to rolling I see (which is debatable) is the needle enters at an angle, perhaps once under the epidermis it is rotating in an arc, creating more of a wound under the skin, which is what were looking for. But who knows???????? For some reason I like the idea of straight punching. Just seems safer.

scoobie_do 2 Share Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) Its a skincare line, 302 skincare.302 was discussed briefly here at acne.org about 4 years ago:http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Response-...mp;hl=Dr.+HuberI'm going to post this thread and hope its ok with the moderator:http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewt...d.php?tid=28855I learned a lot about skincare reading this. Dr. Fernandez recommends using the form of vitamin a in "a boost". Andthe vitamin C seems ok with my skin. Wish I had more knowledge of what's bestfor the skin........ I just used what Dr. Fernandez wrote he was doing, topical a/c.I think some have used bio-oil, terpoline, green cream, and other topicals and had great results. scoobie_do 2 Share Posted November 24, 2009 do u use the 302 drops at all scoobie? l;ooks like the one i would order. where do you order yours from? thanks very much! hi honey girl, I used the 302 drops for a while, but am just using the a and c products now. You will notice on any thread discussing 302, almost fights breaking out about the product. Very polarizing views. My take after using it............ its really powerful, and if you use it follow the guidelines. Especially the drops, don't use too much, just a tiny tiny amount. I found I couldn't use the drops, I just couldn't dose correctly. The serum is much easier as far as not using too much. I think in the long run I'll incorporate it again, even tonight I was debating it. For now I'll probably stick with what Fernandez was doing ( a and c topicals). If you do want to use it you should probably read the above thread (over 100 pages). You almose have to be under supervision to use it. I read some real knock down, drag outs over this product. Best wishes to all

Those are the 2 topicals Dr. Fernandez specifically uses (not 302's), so I just copied what he was doing. Its just vitamin a and c. 302's are non-acidic form, which seemed reasonable when I read about it. For me, they have a nice feel to my skin, very non-irritating. This is just what I use, there's no real standard or anything. you might look also at terpoline, green cream, retin-a, bio-oil (seems like many here like bio-oil). Retin-a is trickey and my understanding you need to start at a small percentage and work up. best wishes
