What should Normal skin feel like?

Recommended Posts

Just come off accutane and it worked, acne has gone, however the debate is still out on if my skin has recovered properly, the thing is, I think my skin may be going greasy again, which is a bad sign.

Does anyone know what normal skin feels like?, you know skin that's not dry and not greasy.

I was just wondering, does facial skin always have a slightly greasy feel to it?

It's been like 3 years since I did'nt have acne, and this is my first time without it.

Just wondering, Thanks guys.

Hey Jack,

First off, congratulations on the success of your accutane course! Everyones skin is different and not everyone with oily skin gets acne... Maybe your skin is just naturally oily... It's not good if it's completely dry either. Don't panic! Try using a tea tree oil wash, which is very good for oily skin. However, if you start breaking out again, you may need to consult your dermatologist.

Good luck! x

Congrats on being clear!

And yes, i believe normal skin is a bit oily. My bf has perfect skin, and i mean perfect! No mark, no pimple, no visible pores, it is absolutely beautiful, iam so jealous. But his face isn't dry, it is a bit oily. And i have a few other friends with perfect skin and there skin, is a bit oily too. A littly oily is good.
