Is there an anti bacterial agent in Roaccutane?

Someone told me recently that there is but im wondering if anyone can confirm if is there an anti bacterial agent in Roaccutane?

i checked my ingredients but it doesn't seem to include any antibacterial ingredients. i'm not sure about it but i don't think they would include an antibacterial agent.. i would think the accutane is enough.

Accutane itself has no antibiotic properties. It will however help decrease the amount of facial bacteria by way of reducing sebum (a common place for bacteria to thrive). So I guess you could say it's more of an indirect effect rather than actually directly killing the bacteria like you would get with an antibiotic such as doxycycline or minocycline. Hope this helps!
