Covering White Scars on Chest by Tattoos

Recommended Posts

what about getting tattoos of the color of your skin on the chest?

my scars are white and raised, but still very small

if i got them flattened but they still remained white, would tattooing them in my own skin color be an option?

if you want to see pictures, go into my profile and look at my post that says "Raised Scars on Chest"

I asked a tattoo artist about that and he said that most scar tissue won't hold ink. Most reputable tattoo artists won't tattoo over them or moles. That's what he told me anyway. I have a few small white raised scars on my chest from cat scratches and I can see where the ink separates around them, though it isn't really too noticeable. Maybe you could pick a design where the scar could be worked into it?

Dang. I had two raised moles removed, which left raised white scars. I was thinking I should have them tatooed back to "mole" color. I liked where they were, as far as mole placement goes, but they just got big and nasty (pregnancy hormones). There goes that plan.
