starting to workout, but cant workout before I apply regimen

Recommended Posts

ok well last monday I began working out. I do the treadmill running for 30-35 minutes and im sweating a lot when I come off it(i assume its because I havent done it in a while so I have to get my body use to it) but then I lift weights. but after the treadmill I take a towel and pat my face instead of washing my face with water.

Ive heard people go to the gym early then apply but due to school i cant do this. so i get home like 2 then go to the gym like after 4, usaully around 6. then I come home and take my shower and I apply the night part of my regimen. they do have showers so maybe after my workout I can shower and I apply my stuff there instead of waiting to get home if thats better but I dont think that makes a difference

keep in mind I apply it first at 6 in the morning before school so by the time I workout its been on for 12 hours.

does this working out affect my regimen in a bad way?

and what should I do on weekends. I go to the gym between 12-3 on the weekends and apply my regimen like 9 or 10. but if i finish my workout by 5 I wont shower until like 7.

any solutions? or is working out fine?

I use purpose cleanser, neutrogena on the spot, neutrogena for combination skin moisturizer. Ive been on for 40 days and ive seen good results. you can check my log in the log thread if this helps in helping my working out question. and im 15.

Let me see if I understand your weekday schedule:

- wake up, do regimen at like 6 am

- workout sometime between 4-6 pm

- do regimen after showering a little while after working out

That sounds just fine to me. Don't worry about trying to do the evening part earlier.

On the weekend, that's a little trickier because you say you work out between 12 and 3 pm. I would do the morning part of the regimen as early as you are comfortable with on those days, and wait to do the evening part until ~8 or 9 hours after you did the morning part. You can splash some water on your face to get rid of sweat after working out and put on more moisturizer, but don't do a thorough washing until later.

I've been curious about working out and regiment myself. I've only brought myself to apply the BP at night time and maybe a few hit and miss spots during the day. Days of which I'm not going to the gym.

I sweat very much and I also just don't want BP fading my clothes I must wear to work daily.

I could be seeing better results if I was doing it by the book.
