Wynne 131 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Polysporin ointment or even just a dab of petrolatum jelly and a bandaid for nighttime. It helps reduce redness and keeps the wound environment moist, which promotes healing. Don't pick the scab as that just wounds the skin again. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
