I'm wondering what kind of environment should be avoided so that I can take better care of my skin. I have a slightly oily skin and I live near the equator. How do you guys think these factors affect the skin? Do they contribute to acne growth?

1) Temperature

Is it wise to stay in a cold temperature (air-conditioned) or warm/hot temperature (outside)? How about water temperature when showering? I consider the water to be hot enough if the bathroom mirror is steamed after I shower and that's the usual temperature I shower with.

2) Humidity

Is an air-conditioned room good for an oily skin or am I better off secreting some sebum in a humid and moist environment? In the latter, I find that my skin gets oily pretty fast and I need to wash my face frequently. In contrast, my skin gets flaky in a dry room. Do I absolutely need a moisturizer?

3) Sun exposure

Is it a good idea to stand in the sun for a couple of minutes a day for some vitamin D exposure and a healthier complexion or is it much better to stay indoors? Keep in mind that in my area, the sun is always scorching hot unless it's the early morning or late afternoon.

I feel that these environmental factors play a big role in the growth of acne, particularly those p. acne bacteria, so good answers are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
