I'm going on a no grain, dairy, soy, or vegetable OIL diet for a month

I want to avoid these foods for a month to see if diet is causing my blackheads. I might try reintroducing brown rice afterwards if it made a difference. Anyways, does this look like a balanced meal plan? I want to make sure Im getting all the proper nutrients.

B-fast:

Smoothie-

coconut milk

frozen blueberries

spinach

1 tbsp coconut oil

stevia

lentils with seasonings

salad mix and avocado

Snack:

Walnuts

Lunch:

Coconut Milk Soup-

coconut oil

coconut milk

chicken

lime juice

chicken stock

cilantro

green onions

ginger

2 carrots and a peach

Dinner:

2 organic eggs w salt and pepper

salad mix and avocado

strawberries

Thanks!!

Oh and for supplements I take:

Zinc 50 mg

Calcium and Magnesium

Vitamin D3 2000 Iu

Iodine-free once a day multi

I would try for some more protein in your diet, and maybe some seafood to complement everything, but otherwise it looks good.

Thanks guys. Yeah Im going to keep a log tracking what I eat and any changes in my skin, etc

Brazil nuts would be a good snack :)

i saw is good for skin.. :)

Why not apples????

Buy some organic apples ;) best fruits ever. :) organic ones taste so good and is healthier then non organic apples.

Yep u need seafoods

Wild caught canned Salmon.. or Wild caught Salmon Fillet , ^^

Why not Almond , brazil nuts instead of walnut?

walnut taste bad.. but i know has omega 3. :) which is nice

yes u should get seafood , Wild caught salmon fallet!! yum

or canned salmon also great :) with salads.. is yummy

I've never tried brazil nuts maybe Ill pick them up next time at work. I wish I could eat fish but I DETEST it, I can't even stomach salmon. It makes me want to barf. I wish I could because its so healthy....

Also Fish oil is great has 1000mg omega 3

yeah, apples are yummy=) I need to try to get more produce in. I love cooking with coconut oil, and the bottle seems to last forever.

p.s. I broke my diet today for father's day-I had milk, soy, vegetable oil, and grain. Im going to get back on track tomorrow.

It is k to eat junks sometime :P

just don't stress :)

I haven't eat junks for monthssssssss :/ started to eat healthy now.

if i get acne while eating healthy ... screw that imma eat junks sometime. lol

Very nice commitment!

I'm also starting a diet similar to this.

However, I can't find anything wrong with soy. I'm replacing grains with soy beans, other beans, peas, and Tofu.

Were there cases where people broke out from soy?... I love Tofu..
