I been using the Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream which has Hydroquinone 2%, alpha hydroxy and vitamins C & E and sunscreen. After using it on a big mark for 3 days that mark appears redder. Is that normal?

And also is it true you should stay away from the sun if use HQ since the marks can darken more? If that's the case I'll stop since I only have like 5 red marks.

I only used it once a day when I was using it and I applied a thin layer, just keep at it. If it doesn't go away within another week you know you should stop using it.

True that! But I think of stopping it shortly since those marks are even more visible now. They were kinda fading and purplish but now shiny and pink. And yeah I just apply it once a day bedtime.
