Difference between Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate?

Sodium lauryl sulfate is more harsh on the skin and hair. It's not as bad as ammonium lauryl sulfate, but it's still pretty drying and can irritate those with sensitive skin.
