just saw michael moore's 'sicko'

Recommended Posts

i loved micheal moore's film on 9/11.but he can afford health care because of the money he is making on these films.i think the problem is doctors wont advertise their prices as with hospitals.i mean 150 dollars a visit to the ER is crazy.i also got put on hold with all the stupid paperwork.time i got to see a doctor..2 hours passed in the ER!to be all fair to hospitals..they usually adjust the prices down if you have no insurance.i think the rich in the usa can afford to pay more taxes.that includes rich democrats like micheal moore.we also have enough people in our country now.we just cant afford to take in more espanics from mexico.and we should stop trying to spend our tax dollars on iraqi's that stab us in the back and kill americans.we should pull out of iraq with a warning for these people.if the iraqis and other muslims keep up the bullshit with americans...we will just nuke the whole middle east.its cheeper, cheeper oil and we would be without a bunch of trouble making arabs!

im so moving to canada. americas healthcare looks really bad after seeing the movie.

if we can spend 400 billion on 'protecting freedom' in iraq, cant we buy ourselves a healthcare system for everyone

Have you seen his documentary, Bowling for Columbine? I really like it. Theres this one scene where people in Canada just left their doors open and they dont lock their doors at night. Canada is more safe than it is here in SF apparently

Healthcare is not a right, it's something that you help yourself to. I'm sorry, but I don't want to pay taxes that cover people who have hurt themselves with incredibly poor diets and things of the sort.

That's a wicked thing to say. You wouldn't say that if that was your father would you?

In western society healthcare should be a basic human right not a privilege

Once you earn over a certain pay here you are in the 40% tax bracket.

he must have gone into some hick town. trust me, i'm from toronto, i've had 3 friends murdered, witnessed crimes, gang fights etc. and my old neighbourhood is so bad there are triple locks on the doors not to mention the driveby shootings.

michael moore i like but goddman he got that part of canada wrong.

you leave your door open in toronto, you'll have your place robbed in an hour. at least in scarborough (where i'm from)

Nice generalization, what exactly about the Democrats is so great either? The fact is, all mainstream members of both parties are lying scum.

People think George Bush and his cronies are evil (I won't disagree, as I think similarly), so they support the complete opposite evil.

The lemmings continue to follow the mindless fools.

:D No kidding.................it feels like all the "parties" are the same, it's bull.

Who's Ron Paul? I'm very curious. I wish they'd give ALLthe candidates equal

media coverage.

All I know is, I walk into the Pharmacy and pick up my presciption for only $5( it would

regularly cost about $60 without my dad's awesome insurance), and then I see this

80 year old woman picking up her blood pressure medication for $95.................

there's obviously something wrong.

I have people not considering my point of view either. Join the club

As bad as Compton. i dont think so. The worst area's around here are jane/finch, regent park, and flemingdon park. ive been thru alot of rough cities, but i still think Detroit is worse than any.

Many reasons why prescriptions are so high in price are due to the governments marriage with big business (the insurance companies and the pharmaceuticals).

Good for you, I don't agree with everything he says, but I agree with most of it. We could use some integrity back in the White House. I'm not 18 yet either, but I will be by voting time.

I like him because he doesn't try to offer me a quick fix solution like socialism does, or just upping taxes does. He looks at the entire issue and understands how everything effects it. A very smart man to say the least. Plus, he's honest, and how many politicians can you say that about?

People around the country have different views on the subject, so it should be decided in a localized manner, not some overbearing federal judgment that refuses to take in differing opinion on the matter.
