Oily skin

Recommended Posts

I've just finished my third course of Roaccutane and it's cleared up my acne fantastically again. The problem is that my skin is becoming really oily again.

No matter what I do it just gets more and more oily. Washing my face makes the problem 10x worse, not washing makes it worse. Washing with just water does nothing either.

I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. My skin looks like a mess, my face looks like a mirror.

I was under the assumption that Roaccutane was effective even after you've finished the course. Like I said before, this is my third course of tane and every time I finish, my acne has come back.

Is there any treatment available to destroy the oil glands? I'm thinking about lasers that could do the job?? I'm pretty desperate now to be honest. Having had acne for almost 7 years now, I'm getting pretty pissed off that it keeps coming back.

Any help??? Please!!

Thanks

Destroying oil glands sounds really drastic and permanent, doesn't skin need a little oil to be healthy anyway? you can always try warm water washes, its helped me and there's lots of posts about water helping oiliness too. cider vinegar is good too.
