Hey,

Acne is bad enough at the best of times.....but don’t you think in summer time its like 1000x worse?

Sunlight is harsh is shows all those blemishes is prefect detail.

Other people are happy and enjoy the sun, I wanna close up and hide from it.

Summer should be a happy time...for me is sad

Anyone is the same situation as me?

lots of sun is fine

hot temperatures are fine

it's when you mix the 90%+ humidity with them that your face just gets congested, inflammed and full of sweat and oil even if you don't have normally have excessive oil production

i hate the winter more, the windchill just shrinks my pores clogging all the shit inside that accumulates over the day

The summer heat causes an increase in oil production which leads to an increased potential for clogged pores and acne.

Last year I used an oil control silicone product that reduced the oil on the skin and lessened the acne (Flawless by Aloette). This year they changed the formulation of the product, so I'll have to see if it is still as effective.

I've missed the last few summer's, you know, just being reclusive.

I'm not gonna do it again, there's no point.

I've already been working on a my tan(I don't let my face get burned),

and I think it looks good.............it feels good to be out in the sun

too. Vitamin D, it's a beautiful thing ;)

My face is alot worse in the winter months. I have dry/oily skin at the same time (Yep, it's possible) and it is EXTREMELY hard to exfoliate in the winter. Moisturizers also dont help me much when it's real cold.
