With increased sleep, has your amount of acne gotten better, worse, or remained the same?

    • Better: Old and new zits healed at a faster rate
    • Better: fewer new zits
    • Worse: my acne got worse by increased sleep
    • Unaffected: my acne did not change due to increased sleep

Since the starting of the new school year (3months ago), I have been doing so much homework/studying and sleeping less (on average about 5hr/night). My face was perfectly clear before, but since then...my face has totally errupted.

I was thinking: Sleep maintains your body's immuny system, and therefore ability to fight infection. So...without sleep my body might not be able to fight off the P. Acnes bacteria as effectively, causing my massive acne breakout.

What do you guys think of this, or am I stretching too far to assume this?

For the past week I have been getting more sleep (on average 7hrs) and I will keep you posted on the results I can see.

If you think I may be on to something...try getting at least 2 hours more sleep per night for 2 weeks and post your results in the poll.
