deebubs 0 Share Posted February 9, 2007 ok i just got prescribed this today? do i apply it on my redmarks? or just the active acne? or all over face? THANKS!!!!!I placed it all over my face, except around my nose and the corners. Bcos of this...I ended up breaking out initially in areas that weren't "problem areas" like my forehead...but in a week or so after the IB it cleared up.

pop politics 0 Share Posted February 10, 2007 I think it'd be best to apply all over your face. Not a fan of spot treating.
~jess~ 0 Share Posted February 10, 2007 No don't put it on red marks because it tends to slow down the healing. For red marks try jojoba oil, vitamin E or aloe vera gel. Differin reduces the rate of keratin production which is a substance that can clog pores, and it also increases your skins turn over rate so that there is less dead skin around to clog your pores. It is designed to use all over your face and works over a long period of time to improve your skin all over. It really doesn't do much as a spot treatment, and certainly doesn't do much for red marks.
