what is this white residue?

Many times when I wash my face after showering.. i see a lotta white residue that is sorta moist around the corners of my nose and a little on my face.. I don't get much of this in the morning when I wash my face.. anyone know what this white moist residue is? how can i rid it?Thanks!

I'm guessing bp or moisturizer. Make sure you thoroughly "massage" those two in. If you are using a cream bp (as opposed to gel) I'm willing to bet that is the culprit.

i think i know what you mean, since i switched to gentile cleansers i've noticed white residue on the area where my nose connects to my cheeks, and down to where my nose connects to above my lip. The residue i get seems to be coming from the pores as it sometimes looks like little spots of white residue. I just rub my fingernail gently along these places when i'm washing my face and this has worked really well for me. My guess is its a combination of dead skin and sebum(the crap that clogs your pores
