ive never read anythin about it directly affecting acne.

but i do have read about its benefit as it is most easily converted carotene by the liver into vitamin A. and vitamin A is an "anti-oxidant, EFA protector, helps skin shed off excess skin cells efficiently, important for maintenance and repair of skin, necessary for new cell growth, enhances immunity, protects against pollution & cancer formation, protects against infections of the kidney bladder, lungs, mucous membranes, and allows protein to be utilized."

vitamin A is best taken with fat so it is advised to be taken with your EFAs (essential fatty acids/omega 3,6,9).
