Redness + Shaving

Hello,

Just a couple of quick questions.

Iv'e been using various things on my skin over a long period to combat spots, they have helped to stop outbreaks really well:

My big problem now is redness, which my face seems very prone to (rawness at certain times of the day, in cold weather etc, generally patches of redness that vary in extremeness all the time!).

I live in the UK and was wondering if there are any good products or methods easily obtained on the highstreet for me to try along with my prescribed spot stuff which can help to reduce facial redness.

I'm also wondering about the best way to go about shaving, I have grown to hate shaving because each time I do my face seems to become really red and raw looking afterwards for at least a day or sometimes more which is embarassing. Is there any good technique for shaving to reduce redness to a minimum, ive put off shaving for a while now beacuse of this problem and am growing something of a scruffy beard!

Any help/comments appreciated,

Cheers!

I'm a girl...so probably can't help you much...but...Aveeno makes a sensitive skin shave gel that would probably help you. Aveeno also makes a face wash and moisturizers in a line called "Ultra Calming" and they have helped me with the redness/irritation of accutane.

Would an electric razor be less irritating?
