Hey everybody,
I have been dermastamping my raised (hypertrophic and not keloid) scars for a while now and I'm not sure I see an improvement yet, however I've read different sites saying different things regarding this matter... anyone knows for sure of some scientific proof that it is good/bad to do it?

So... what should I do?
I ain't no expert but I believe the needles are more beneficial for wrinkles and indented scars like acne pits. Be that as it may, I too have marginally raised scars around my jawline that I've been treating with a diabetic needle (basically poking the scars in different directions). While they're not entirely gone, I do see improvement from before.

Interesting, maybe I could try to use the dermastamp from the side of the hypertrophic scar.. Why did you choose to do this?

I am not sure what excision is, is it kind of like subcision?
