Is it possible to get rid of a raised scar (on the cheek) permanently but with a risk of an indent?

 

Is excision the only way to accomplish this?

Someone posted on here that sangre de drago helped their hypertrophic scar; that wouldn't cause an indent. I just ordered it and started using it this week; it's cheap, you can get it on amazon.

Also google castor oil and scars; it would take a long time be definitely wouldn't cause an indent.
