Weird, white things attached to my acne scabs?

For the last year or so I've been having these weird breakouts all over my body. They itch constantly and, i know I shouldn't, But I end up scratching and pop them to relieve the symptoms. This, in turn, breaks them open and creates scabbed-over sores ranging in all sizes depending on how often they're picked at. The most disturbing aspect of this issue is when the scab is picked I always see these white nodules attached to the bottom of it. They're about the size of a grain of rice. There's usually always one, sometimes a few in each scab. After they're plucked out I also see a little open pore within the sore where the white nodules used to be. They're painful, unsitely, and are ruining my life basically because I'm embarrassed of my skin. I just want to find out what the shit is going on with these things and how to get it under control.
~Any feedback helps!
Attached are a few images of a scab that came off my shoulder blade: image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Looks like some hardened sebum plugs. These from inside of a pore for a few different reasons. The formation of hardened sebum is one of the root causes of acne. For these plugs to be attached to a scab of a pimple is therefore not so weird.

You should definitely not definitely pick at your scabs, or your acne in general.

Do you also break out on your face?

I had a feeling it was something like that. And you're most definitely correct about not picking! I swear the picking has become more of a
problem than the actual acne itself, ha. I have combination skin on my face and fortunantly only breakout occasionally. My problem area
over the last few months has been my shoulders and back.

Is there any chance that you switched to a different laundry detergent?
I just feel like something external is aggravating your skin, especially if your face is relatively unscathed. Unless you have a good topical regimen to for your face of course. If so, good on you!
