Could you possibly go see another dermatologist? Maybe you can do a short regimen of antibiotics, a prescription face wash, a topical, or whatever that doctor suggests. Sometimes derms just want to get you out of the room ASAP haha, I just recently switched from a derm like that. Best decision I ever made! If you do go back to that same derm, demand them to listen and make them to talk about your options. Good luck and best wishes!!

Thank you both. I stopped the cream because I think I have pityrosporum folliculitis (I have some spots on my chest and back too) and now I wash my face with H&S. I'll see if that works out and if it doesn't I'm going back to the derm.

Yes, you need to see dermatologist again. I am not aware of any prescription Eucerin cream, so it is not clear to me as what she has prescribed you with.If you do not have blackheads (comedones) then other diagnoses must be considered such as Pityrosporum folliculitis as you have mentioned in one of your posts. You need to bring that up to your derm. In my office I usually smear pus to look under microscope for any organisms.

Hey guys... Just wanted to make a quick update. The H&S didn't work for me and I have a derm appointment after 2 days. I'm going to try to convince her that what I have isn't acne (none of the acne treatments worked) but PF. I'm going to ask her to prescribe me fluconazole and I hope she agrees.
