Has anyone dealt with short term memory loss as a side effect on Spironolactone? I definitely notice it more while drinking (yes, obviously alcohol can do that), but it's way more severe than before I started takingSpironolactone.

I would definitely look into that. Not in exsperience but I read many other reviews that it did . Results not good.

Do you remember what happened and what the results were? I've been trying to find info but can't find any review about this specific thing :/

I would say definitely do NOT drink alcohol while on this drug. Sure, some people say it's fine but if you are having a severe reaction (memory loss) you should not mix them. I can literally have one beer and feel weird and almost drunk since I've been on Spiro.

Glad I'm not the only one! I kept trying to find other people with this experience, but wasn't finding much online.

Hey Kenzie!!

Wanted to give you a heads up that I also suffered from short-term memory loss on spironolactone. The issue snowballed over the course of a couple years and basically ruined my life haha, I still haven't recovered. Have you also started suffering from acid reflux/digestive problems, and fatigue? Idk if you still check this forum but would love to talk more, I have some theories about what causes the memory loss and want to see if you have similar symptoms.

Best,
Jen
