Hello everyone!!
So I'm in the middle of my second pack of Yaz and things have really changed a lot since I finished the first pack. My oily skin and greasy hair went away and I had beautiful skin (with only scarring but no new acne at all) for a few days, and I hadn't been soooo happy for a very long time!!
But my excitement didn't last very long because very quickly my skin went from being normal to super dry and tight. I thought it was because of the topical treatment I used, but then I've already stopped using it for a while but still no improvement. I wonder if it could be my eczema but I have outgrown it since...childhood.
Could it it be that Yaz is taking away all the sebum and causing me to have such extremely dry skin? I have been using a ridiculous amount of moisturiser but my skin is so dry even applying foundation will just cause it to flake and crack. Now I'm not sure if having super oily or super dry skin is worse!
Hi honey,
Yaz dried my skin out around the 3rd month of using. The results of having less break outs were worth the dry skin for me (although I had to come off Yaz due to erratic bleeds)
I found that applying a lot of Bio Oil at night and after facial washing helped heaps!
Moisturiser, isn't as effective as oil, not to mention being packed full of chemicals.
Mid recommend coconut oil if they dryness is extreme.
It is completely natural and soooo long lasting!!! I also find that it reduces a lot of redness. When our skin is dehydrated, it can trigger you to over produce sebum. This can then cause cystic acne.
Hope you can find some relief

Hey! Thanks so much for your advice! Yes I have been applying jojoba oil on top of my moisturizer at night, and it really helps! I've also been taking some skin supplements such as fish oil and coconut oil for the past few days , and I've already noticed an increase in my sebum production!!
