Okay. So after a year of struggling with my acne..along with my quickly depleting self esteem, I have decided to come to this website and ask for help. I am at a point in my life where I feel too disgusted and self conscious to leave my house and the fact that I go to school with overcritical teenagers does't help either. My skin has started to build up over the last year and it is at a point where I don't know what to do anymore and I have never felt more discouraged. It first started between my brows. I had tons of whiteheads, so as a result I stopped eating junkfood and started taking some vitamins. I have been taking fish oil pills, selenium, vitamin D, and probiotics for three months. The only thing that changed was that a few whiteheads and pimples in between my brows went away. I now have these skin colored bumps all over my cheeks and forehead. They are tiny little bumps that don't seem to surface, but sometimes a few of them do. Along with these bumps, I have a deep under the skin acne on my cheeks and they make my whole face hurt. I honestly feel like I have tried everything. I am a very clean person and I use a gentle Cetaphil face wash everynight. I have stopped wearing makeup for a month, but there was no difference. I have looked some things up and it looks like these bumps could be clogged pores? Since they appear to be clogged pores, I exfoliate every two days and try to remove the dead skin off of my face. Thank you for listening to story and if you have any advice or suggestions, I would be forever thankful! (FYI, I am a sixteen year old female)

Just to let you know the Olay Regenerist Regenerating Cream Cleanser contains 3 Ingredients that will clog your pores I would recommend looking for products that are non-Comedogenic and it should help.
Cetyl Alcohol is mildly comedogenic
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is highly comedogenic
Steareth-2 is mildly comedogenic
Yes the cream cleanser is abrasive and I will take upon your advice and give it up...Last night I boiled a pot of water and added a few drops of tea tree oil..I then covered my head with a towel and steamed my face. When I woke up this morning, my skin had improved drastically within 12 hours! I have also went online and purchased a jar of Indian Healing Clay mask, hoping it will help unclog my pores. Thank you for your help!
Hey, sweetie! I know how you feel. Acne sucks and make us feel so bad about ourselves! But everything will be OK!
So, how is your hormone levels? Is your testosterone too high? It's very important to know if there's something wrong with your hormones because they play a big hole in your acne and oil productions. Keep in mind that, if something is not working well inside your body, your pimples won't go away with topical treatments. Since you said you tried vitamin D and oil fish and they didn't solve your problem, I suggest you to talk to a gyn about it.
I myself have PCOS and high androgen levels on my blood and I tried everything you can imagine and nothing worked besides hormonal treatment.
Hey there. I hope you're doing better? I definitely feel like crap lately about my skin.
