Yes, mine did too. I was pregnant when I was 31 and my skin became completely clear. The last 2 weeks of my pregnancy I got a bunch of freckles. 3 months after my twins were born my acne became 10x worse than it had ever been. Half of my hair fell out too... I am actually still dealing with my skin a year later. It started producing wayyyy too much oil and I still don't really know what to do about it. Just started taking vitex.

I guess all great things come with a price. Some moms don't have to deal with it at all. Lucky.

Hey lady! I am 33 and 6 weeks pregnant also! (Well, I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow). So cool. With my daughter I broke out horribly but this pregnancy has been a lot better. I don't know why that is but I had cleared up a lot beforehand and I think that helped. I had some mild breakouts the other day but the erythromicin gel seemed to help. Have you had an ultrasound yet? My first one is tomorrow - I'm so nervous.

I have had acne since I was 15 and I used many things to get rid of it such as Accutane, A-Z antibiotics, topical creams and strict diets but it did not happen! I am 6 weeks pregnant now (33 years old) and I feel that my Acne type has been changed or I can say that it has been improved. Does anyone have the same experience?

I used to have big cystic acne but I realized that from two weeks ago I have not had any cyst but I still get small reddish pimples...I thought that it could be pregnancy effect if not too soon! b.t.w, are you sure that Erythromycin is safe to use during pregnancy?

Yup, it's Category B topical and it's on all the safe lists. Congrats and glad pregnancy is helping your acne!
