So I want to come of Diane as there is a history of strokes/blood clots in my family and I know it is notorious for that. I was prescribed Diane 2 years ago for my moderate acne and it worked brilliantly. However I know that coming off BCP without cystic breakouts is very hard. Is it possible for me to start a course of accutane and substitute that for my BC and not breakout??

Yes I think it would work, but I don't know who would prescribe you Accutane while you're clear. I would suggest getting on Spiro and then going off the pill after you've been on it for 4-6 months.
