If Otc Lo Didn't Work For Me Can Otc Regular Help?

I'm about halfway through my first pack of ofc lo and it broke me out pretty bad (I was seeing good results with differin but I was also on ALESSE which didn't help my skin) and I have been experiencing a very annoying itchiness and tenderness down there. Anyway, I am going to switch next month.

My question is: should I try another pill and risk side effects or go back to Alesse which didn't help but didn't hurt and only made me bloated. Will the regular OTC break me out if the low did?

Not sure if I want to risk another breakout starting new pills. Any personal experiences with either OTC or OTC lo would help!!

Yes, the higher estrogen in regular OTC makes a difference for a lot of women with acne. Some also like just Ortho Cyclen which keeps your hormones stable instead of changing them like the Tri version does.

you will mostly breakout with any bc pill you start because your hormones are trying to adjust so you got to give it at least 4 packs to notice improvement in your acne. if you are going to switch, I would go with ortho cyclen. I went on ortho tri cyclen and it didn't help my acne (and I took it for 7 months so yes I was patient) but then I switched to ortho cyclen and I cleared up in about after 4 packs. so be patient cuz it'll be worth it when you are looking in the mirror at clear skin!
